Thomas Brandon

Background

Thomas Brandon is on the executive committee for Whitaker Chalk and takes his role as a counselor seriously. He has extensive experience in Employment Law and Commercial Litigation as well as prevention of litigation on behalf of employers, which includes reviewing and updating policies and procedures, investigating allegations of discrimination, and representation in litigation on matters involving any aspect of the employment relationship.

Additionally, Tom has extensive experience in representing non-profit organizations including churches, ministries, secondary and graduate level educational institutions as well as providing counsel to healthcare facilities, municipalities, school boards, and individuals challenging dismissals or grievances in those settings. He has more than 40 years’ experience representing religious and non-profit organizations and churches on a wide range of matters involving tax issues, employment issues, governance, structure, funding and litigation. Additionally, he has litigated First Amendment and religious liberty issues during the entire time he has practiced.
