Background

Micah Mays joined Whitaker Chalk’s securities team in August of 2025. She earned her juris doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in May 2025, where she received recognition on the Dean’s Honor Roll and was the Executive Articles Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review. Prior to law school, Micah graduated from Texas A&M University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Micah has experience across multiple areas of business law, including securities transactions, M&A, and contract drafting.

Micah focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters, guiding business owners through private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate governance. She advises clients on private fund formation, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission compliance, and corporate transactions across a broad range of industries, including technology, energy, oil and gas, and real estate.
