Thomas Brandon spoke at the monthly Lunch & Learn sponsored by Whitaker Chalk and the City Club on March 8, 2018.  His presentation was entitled Navigating the Common Pitfalls to Nonprofit Organizations.  The subjects of the presentation involved:  Governance issues, Liability of the Director of a Nonprofit; Protection of Directors and the Nonprofit; and, the Accountability of a Nonprofit.  Mr. Brandon also made available a Legal Audit Checklist which can be used by Nonprofits to determine issues and problems areas that a nonprofit might have.  If you would like a copy of the Legal Audit Checklist please feel free to email Mr. Brandon at tbrandon@whitakerchalk.com and request one.
