Background

Dr. Tave Parker Doty advises individuals and business entities from a variety of industries in selecting appropriate corporate structures and negotiating complex commercial transactions.  She works with companies ranging from start-ups to large companies, advising them through formation, mergers/acquisitions, and divestiture of assets. Tave also helps her clients protect their valuable intellectual property, including patents, copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual assets.

Tave grew up in a ranching family and continues to raise cattle and horses, which gives her a unique ability to understand and advise her clients in all aspects of their farm, ranch, water rights, agricultural, oil/gas, and real estate businesses. She also advises clients through the TABC licensing process for distilleries, vineyards, breweries, and venues.
