A recent addition to Whitaker Chalk, Jason Emmitte focuses his practice on oil, gas and mineral law transactions. Jason’s practice includes preparation of acquisition title opinions in conjunction with multimillion dollar purchases of oil, gas and mineral properties in the Barnett Shale and South Texas. Jason also assists clients on leasing, title acquisition and compliance issues, the application of joint operating agreements, participation agreements, purchase sale agreements, farm-out agreements, and other title instruments which include assignments, unit designations and deeds.
